Philip K. Dick was an extremely influential science fiction writer. More than a dozen of his works have been adapted for the screen including Blade Runner, Total Recall, Minority Report, The Adjustment Bureau, and The Man in the High Castle. Dick's work questioned the nature of reality and was often set against the backdrop of corporate power and greed, which earned him numerous literary awards and nominations plus induction into The Science Fiction Hall of Fame posthumously in 2005. The editors of Fantastic Stories of the Imagination have compiled 13 of Dick’s stories for this collection.
